If I put the bigger card in the device and then put it back into the docking station and connect it to the PC I can access the maps and route planner in tomtom Home, it all works perfect without having to put the activation code in again. Hi 46jimbo, The code i used was from the card inside the box, the product code, the device code I had from the device its self, if you follow the onscreen prompts on the tom tom web site, it steers you down the activation code path, putting in your device code then product code = the activation code, it accepts it all, no problems, and it all works with the device sat in the docking station and connected to the PC via the usb lead, (using the PC screen to view the on screen map) soon as i take it out of the docking station and switch it on, it runs through the usual start up prompts and then the map activation code, I key this in, as given by TomTom and it says the code is wrong, I put in the original card and it all works.
